Five stages, one continuous plan
A move rarely goes wrong because of the driving. It goes wrong because of everything that was assumed rather than checked beforehand. Here is what happens at each stage, and why the order matters.
Enquiry and free on-site survey
It starts with a call or a message describing roughly what needs to move and where to. From there, a surveyor visits the property at a time that suits you, at no cost and with no obligation to book anything. They walk through each room, note furniture, box count, stairs, lifts and parking access, and ask about any items that need special handling, such as a piano, a wardrobe with a mirrored door, or server equipment.
Written quotation and scheduling
Within a short time after the survey, a written quotation follows, itemising what was seen: crew size, vehicle type, estimated hours, and any disassembly, wrapping or storage needs identified. A moving date is proposed against this plan rather than a generic calendar slot, so the crew arriving on the day already knows what to expect.
Disassembly, wrapping and packing
Wardrobes, bed frames and shelving units are taken apart where this makes them safer to carry and easier to fit through doorways. Hardware such as screws and brackets is bagged and labelled per piece. Fragile items get individual wrapping in quilted blankets or stretch film, glass and mirrors get corner protection, and general boxes are labelled by room so unloading later is straightforward rather than guesswork.
Transport day
Loading follows a sequence, heavier items first, fragile pieces secured last so they are not shifted by anything loaded afterwards. Straps and load bars keep furniture from moving in transit. For domestic moves within Poland, delivery is often same-day. For destinations across the border in a neighbouring EU country, the route and expected arrival window are agreed in advance, and the load remains covered by transit insurance throughout.
Delivery, reassembly and storage if needed
At the new address, furniture is carried in, reassembled in its original configuration, and boxes are placed in the rooms they were labelled for. If the new address is not yet ready to receive everything, part or all of the load can go into short-term storage instead, and delivery is scheduled again once the property is available.
